Kylie Does Dallas

(download)
Any of us in the nation who saw Kylie's Houston show will tell you how amazing it was. And it was. It was, honies! After the Houston show, I knew I needed to see her again. Houston's venue was remarkably small, but Kylie played its heart out. I was looking forward to seeing her in a venue where she could use her full set (the North American version ... sans water).

Basically I wanted to see the shell. And I did. I saw that damn shell.

The Dallas show was pretty much a carbon copy of the Houston show ... with her full set and one big change. In Houston, Kylie gave us her classic "Locomotion," but in Dallas, she said, "So ... anybody have any requests?"

Commence glittery pandemonium."Your Disco Needs You" won and Kylie gave a beautiful rendition.

My favorite moment of this particular show was "If You Don't Love Me." Acoustic, gorgeous, GORGEOUS. At one point, Kylie pauses and Texas, doing it bigger, screamed, applauded for nearly a minute before Kylie continued on. Outstanding moment.

The set was gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. I hope she releases a tour DVD.

Beyoncé's "Run The World" Video

From an audio perspective, the first few times I heard "Run The World," I was kinda "meh" about it. I heard it at Houston's Bunnies on the Bayou and liked it more and now with this video? Hon-ies. You can guarantee there will be drag queens performing this with complete choreography by the weekend.

Love.

McQueen

From his Spring/Summer 1999 collection. One of the SICKEST works of fashion art I have ever seen.

The man was a genius. RIP

Gaga Grammy fashion!

So what was y'all's favorite look by Miss Lady Gaga at Sunday's Grammys? I vote none but what do I know? Her fourth look was so absurd and out there I lean toward that one. I would not want to be sitting behind her. Especially if I came to the award show just to see Taylor Swift (gag).
